STFC Cloud
STFC Cloud is a dedicated cloud infrastructure that provides access
to compute resources for users across STFC and partner organisation facilities.
A state-of-the-art resource, STFC Cloud enables users to perform complex data analysis without the overheads
of running their own infrastructure. The platform provides:
- Compute for data analysis, machine learning and high throughput computing across all scientific fields
- Compute for science supporting workloads, such as software and service development, testing and hosting
- Availability to all STFC supported sciences, including collaborators and users
- Training to increase skills in various scientific computing domains
- A variety of operating system images
- Validation of kubernetes deployment methods
- Annual upgrades
STFC Cloud is located within the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
